This year, The Florida Freewheelers are teaming up with Bike Florida to bring you an even better Horrible Hundred. All the great things that you love and hate will be back this year. We will have warm up rides on Saturday along with packet pickup at Waterfront Park. Enjoy lunch at an assortment of food trucks on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday, challenge all the hills in Lake County. We will have routes of 35, 70 and 100 miles. We are tweaking the routes this year to make them even better. Refuel at our outstanding themed rest stops and then enjoy an after ride meal catered by Oakwood Smokehouse. We will also have our Cycling and Fitness Expo all weekend.
Along with all this, Bike Florida’s 3rd annual "Share the Road Celebration of Cycling" will be taking place on Friday, November 13, and Saturday, November 14, 2015. They will have seminars on Friday and their annual Share the Road Awards Banquet on Saturday night. For more information on the Bike Florida events contact Ron Cunningham at 352-262-5798 or ron@bikeflorida.org.
Please remember that the Horrible Hundred is a recreational ride and cyclists of all abilities are welcome. Helmets are required and headphones are prohibited, in accordance with Florida law. This is a rain or shine event.
